Objectives
- Explain buffer, dissolve, clip, intersect, difference and nearest join, and choose the right one
- Reproject layers to a CRS in meters and run each operation from the Vector menu and the Processing Toolbox
- Select features by location and explain how the choice of spatial predicate changes the answer
- Estimate a population inside a zone with areal weighting in the Field Calculator, and state its assumption
- Measure straight-line distances to the nearest facility and recognize their limits
