The News section (/news) lists announcements and articles from across the site. You can open any article, browse a calendar view, search for a topic, or subscribe via RSS to keep up without checking back manually.

Events with registration

Some articles represent events rather than static announcements — they have a start and end time and may be shown as happening "today," "tomorrow," or "now." If an event has registration open, you can register (RSVP) directly from the article; if the event later becomes full or is cancelled, you'll be notified.

Authoring an article

If you have news-authoring permissions, you can create and publish articles directly from the site — this isn't limited to an admin-only panel. Use this for community-wide announcements, event listings, or general updates.
